The Chicago Master Singers and the Ars Viva Symphony Alan Heatherington, Music Director and Conductor Our historic 25th anniversary season came to a dramatic conclusion with our April 19, 2004 performance of Verdi's Requiem in Orchestra Hall at Symphony Center in Chicago. The performance of the same work at Divine Word Chapel in Techny was completely sold out. The season was launched with three magnificent performances of Mendelssohn's Elijah with renowned bass Philip Kraus as Elijah, and continued with a busy schedule of holiday season concerts by both the Chorale and the full chorus.
